Our Kennel Attendants


Melinda Letchworth:

Melinda lives in Puckett with her husband and four awesome boys. They have horses and dogs. Melinda has always loved animals and enjoys being able to take care of them at the clinic when they are away from home.


Kristin Benson:

Kristin was born and raised in Flowood, MS. She currently resides in Pelahatchie. Kristin is married with two daughters and three dogs. She enjoys spending time with family and friends. Kristin is also our wonderful Kennel Manager!


Gabbi Walters:

Gabbi is a Pelahatchie native and a 2018 graduate of Pelahatchie High School. She is continuing her education at Hinds Community College, then transferring to MS State University to pursue her career in becoming a Veterinarian. Gabbi became a part of the Crooked Creek family in 2014. She thoroughly enjoys working with each patient and making the clinic feel like home for your pet. She also has a huge passions for senior dogs. Most of the time she can be found floating around the clinic either working in the hospital caring for patients or up front greeting clients. Gabbi is the oldest of three siblings and the daughter of Gabe and Lacie Walters. In her spare time, she enjoys showing Red Angus Cattle and baking. She is an active member of Antioch Baptist Church and sings on the Praise Team. Gabbi has lots of fur babies: two quarter horses named Otis and Traveler, a donkey named Johnny, a miniature pony named Mufasa, two pygmy goats named Daffey and Oreo, a pot bellied pig named Cowboy, a longhorn named Sally, and her show cattle. She also has three family dogs: R.J, Zoe, and Daisy. Most importantly, Gabbi enjoys spending time with her large family and friends. Joshua 1:9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”


Katlyn Harris:

Katlyn is a graduate of East Rankin Academy. She continued her education at East Central Community College where she obtained an Associates in Biological Sciences. She then transferred to MS State University where she is obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences with a concentration in Veterinary Medicine. When she isn’t taking care of your fur babies, she is working as an officer for the MSU Collegiate Cattlemen. She also works on her family’s farm. Katlyn has been apart of Crooked Creek since 2013. You may see her in more than just kennel. Most of the time she is found in the hospital taking care of patients or up front working in reception.
